Product Store of Apache OFBiz is a place to configure some policies about Facility, Promotion, Store’s users role, Shipping, Payment, E-commerce website, Catalog

1. General tab:
You can configure some general information in this tab:
– First area: Some general information and “Visual Theme” is for selecting theme for e-commerce site.

Next area: About Inventory policies

  • Inventory Facility Id: Pick one facility for this store.

  • One Inventory Facility: Allow only one facility for current product store.

+ Is Immediately Fulfilled: Used to create production run, if this value is Y then you can not decrease the ATP number.
+ Reserving: Make sure new sales order will be reserved.
+ Show Out Of Stock Products: If you have an e-commerce site, it will allow to display or not display out of  stock product.
+ Require Inventory: Make sure you have enought stock to create new sales order.
+ Reserve Order Enum Id: Reserving method(FIFO, LIFO,…)

  1. ROLE(S) tab:
    This tab will define role for parties who are interact on this product store. For example, If you want to create sales order(not on e-commerce site),
    you have to have “Sales Executive” role.

  2. PROMO tab:
    Associating pre-defined promotion program to this product store.

  3. CATALOG tab:
    Your product store have to use these catalogs to sell products, if you don’t assign catalog, you can not sell anything.

  4. WEBSITE tab:
    Select your favourite theme, it will display on e-commerce site.

  5. Shipping tab:
    You can define some “Carrier Shipment Method” to this store. Those method will be selected in ordering screen.

  6. SHIPPING ESTIMATE tab:
    In this screen, you can define how much cost for each order by rule. For instance: 1km cost 1 USD

  7. PAYMENTS tab:
    Defining payment method, each order can be paid by those methology. It can use payment gateway. If you have some customized method, you can
    code and select them.

  8. FACILITY tab:
    One product store can have more than one facility. Yes, you can sell on more than one facility.

  9. SURVEY tab:
    Using on e-commerce site, for collecting end-use response about your services…

  10. VENDOR PAYMENT AND SHIPMENT tab:
    You can select your vendors who are providing shipping and payment services.
